Playing video from PC to TV

Playing video from PC to TV
Hi there,
I want to do the opposite to most people - play movies from my PC through my dreambox onto my TV. Please can someone help?
I have VLC installed and think it should be simple to stream to an http address. I've tried that and configured the Dreambox to look at the same address but no cigar. Does anyone have a simple answer for this problem? dreamboxs

i like to know the answer too, i havent bought any box yet, but if streaming from pc to 500s is not possible then i might get a box with usb support may be 600s (600s - does it have cooling fan in it?)

I still can't get it to work... Have asked for some professional assistance and will report back if things go well...
This works great for me although i spent a lot of time trying to get it to work. In the end i changed image. I was using plijade so i changed to Openpli image downloaded the movieplayer plug in from the plugin menu in the image. On pc makes sure vlc is on and web interface is selected. On dreambox movieplayer.xml make sure the pc ip address is the same as the pc. You can edit movieplayer.xml by using tuxbox commander (plugin) from the dreambox or you can open up a web browser on the pc, key in the ip address of the dreambox, wait for the enigma web interface to load then click on 'stream' on the left hand side then click settings then edit to edit the ip address. As i said i spent ages trying to get this to work but as soon as i changed to Open pli it worked. Hope this helps

The pro is coming in a few weeks. In the meantime I think there might be a way to do this via VNC. Does anyone have experience in this? I have downloaded the vnc plugin and configured the config file according to the instructions at _http://wiki.tuxbox.org/Plugins:VNCviewer]Plugins:VNCviewer - TuxboxWIKI but I can't get it to do anything. Please help...
